Show BOY BADLY HURT BY MOTORCYCLE. Salt Lake. April 24 Yern Thornton. Thorn-ton. 13 year-old son of George VV. George Y. Thornton ol 556 Post street, was seriously injured shortly ;itter 6 o'clock last evening when struck by a motorcycle driven by Y. E Cornell. 58 South First West. The accident occurred on the Fourth South slreet viaduct The boy was carrying B large bas- ket on his shoulder and walking west o. r the viaduct. Cornell, riding his motorcycle, was going in the same direction Suddenly the lad stepped from the viaduct into the roadwav The motorcycle struck him and threw him to the floor. The police were notified and the injured lad was re-moved re-moved to the police emergency hospital, hos-pital, where Dr. H. B.
