Show FOOTBALL PLAYERS GO TO SALT LAKE TOMORROW The Orange and Black football taem of the Ogden High school will journey to Salt Lake tomorrow to do battle with its ancient rival, the Red and Black eleven of the Salt La Ice West Side school. The game will be played on Cummlngs' field beginning at o o'clock and a special-rate Bamberger Bam-berger train will leave Ogden at 12 o'clock noon, to carry the Ogden team and fans to Salt Lake. Since their victory over the Jordan Jor-dan team, the Ogden players have kept steadily to their practice, under the direction of Coach Raymond Shi rey, knowing from past history and experience that they will meet a sea soned bunch of opponents when they buck the West Side High. The boys are in tip-top condition, none of them having suffered any material Injury as yet and they will be on their mettle tomorrow from the sound of the first pistol shoL Coach "Heinie" Richardson of the "Red and Black" squad has also been busy this week straightening 'out the players who were injured last week in a game with the U. of U. freshmen and, according to reports, he has just about succeeded in his efforts. He has a fast and husky crowd of pigskin pig-skin chasers and Is not in the least doubtful of Its ability to trim Ogden. |
