Recent reports received here have asserted that American cavalry scout- fvl ing patrols have been operating be- KH tween Guerrero and Namiquipa. The patrols were sent south from El Valle, "( the southernmost American base, in il response to reports that Villa himself was leading tho bandit band in that vicinity. Mexican authorities at Juarez JM said wire communication was s faulty and no reports of nn engagement at tl Guerrero had been received. It was not considered probable that j.l tho American patrols would encounter jH tho bandits who probably are making 'H for secret lairs in tho hills of the dls- H ! |
