LIBERTY BELL mm HERE M SUHHY.JOLril A special moetlng of tho committees commit-tees arranging the program that will be held in connection with the bringing bring-ing of tho Liberty Bell to Ogden on Sunday, July 11th, was held last night at the ci'y hall and the general plan for the big event was discussed. It was approximated that 25,000 people of Ogden and northern Utah would see the famous relic during its stay in Ogden and the arrangements for tho celebration are to be made with a view to caring for that number. Sunt. Edwin Hinckley of the State industrial school is chairman of the airangement committee and SupL J. M. Mills of the city school is acting as secretary. According to the general plan for the celebration, the school children of the city will be assembled at different points to be announced later and the older people will meet at the City hall ipark, just prior to the arrival of the 'bell A parade, led by tho Gn.nd Army veterans, the W. R. C, Ladles of the G A. R., the Spanish War Veterans Vet-erans and their ladles, will be formed, with tho school children following the army organizations. Tho line of march will be west on Twenty-fifth street to Wall avenue and south to Twenty-sixth street, then west to the O. S. L commissary track, where the bell Is to be placed. The official pipgram at the railroad yards will be very brief, consisting of an address on behalf of Ogden by Judge James A HowelU a response by Chairman Seger of the Philadelphia Philadel-phia committee and music by a local band. oo |
