Show KEPT PICS BR HIS HOME 10 IS ARRESTED Sam Onello. the Italian proprietor of a fruit and commission store on Washington avenue, waa arrested yesterday yes-terday on complaint jtf Sanitary In-Sector In-Sector Georgo Shorten, for keeping a number of pigs at tho roar of his I residence, 2227 Washington avenue. He pleaded guilty in the municipal court this morning to tho charge of maintaining a nuisance. In telling his story, he said that he obtained the pigs to sell, not Intending to keep them any length of time, but that the prospective purchaser said, "Wait a few days 'till I getta da mon and then I getta da pig." "But." he continued, "be never come yet." He promised to refrain from bringing pigs into the city under similar conditions in the future and to keep his premises clean and was" given a suspended sentence. Ray Butterfield, an lS-year-old youth, pleaded guilty to riding a bicycle bi-cycle on the sidewalk and was fined Z. John Corn, a "moodier" drew a five-day jail sentence. J. G. Poder and Hugh O'Hagen were each given a ton-day sentence with the usual alternative, al-ternative, after pleading guilty to fighting. They were arrested last night on lower Twenty-fifth street by Officers Sullivan and Kelliher. Robert Johnson and Carl Johnson, charged with drunkenness, had their cases continued and S Sakata forfeited $100 ball. Sakata was arrested Monday ulght by Officers Peterson and Kelliher Kelli-her on the charge of selling liquor without a license. oo |
