Show SEARCHING FOR A GERMAN BASE (Correspondence of Tho Associated Press.) London, Nov. 20 The suspicion that the Germans have a base for submarines, a supply station for aeroplanes aero-planes and wireless apparatus in remote re-mote parts of the Scottish coast may be founded on fact. The activities of the German navy far from its own coasts which have enabled it to scat ter mines off the north of Ireland and to sink the super dreadnought Audacious Auda-cious by mine or submarine, furnish es ground for that theory. The po-ernment po-ernment has given it sufficient belief to circulate placards in Scotland offering of-fering a reward of $500 for the discovery dis-covery of any base for hostile supplies sup-plies of petrol or hostile wireless |
