Show ELKS HONOR DEAD. Pocatello, Ida.. Dec 7. The Elks' "lodge of sorrow' yesterday afternoon after-noon was attended by several hundred people and the ceremonies were the most impressive ever held in the city. During the past year three brothers have been added to the list of absent brothers VV R Jones, John A Toombs and D. Worth Clark. The urogram, aside from the ritua1, included selections by the orchestra, vocal solo "Calvary" by Mrs C. Douglas Doug-las Smith, with violin obligato by Miss Pierce; tenor solo by G E. Schaefer, eulogy by D. C. MacDoug-all; MacDoug-all; benediction by Exalted Ruler James Astle The memorial address wns inad by Colonel H. V. A. Ferguson Fergu-son and was a tribute to the ideals Of Elkdom. The memorial committee was composed of A. E Zencr, J. D Freeman, William Connors, John Harvey Har-vey and C D. Smith. 1 |
