ALUMNI DAY AT THE ACADEMY WILL SE FRIDAY The announcement of the Alumni day program on Friday was made at the Weber academy this morning during dur-ing tho regular assembly period. The program of the day will consist of a visit to the school by members of the alumni association and in the evening eve-ning the main celebration will be held A basketball game, between the We her academy team and the Alumni team, will be the first event in the evening and the lineup will be as follows fol-lows : Weber A. A feature of the assembly this morning was the placing of the banner, ban-ner, which has been twice won by the Senior class in the extemporaneous extemporane-ous speaking contests. Yesterday the girls of the domestic domes-tic science department visited the Amalgamated Sugar company's factory fac-tory In Wilson Lane, under the chap-eronage chap-eronage of Mrs. Lydia Tanner, their instructress. The class was taken to the factory by some of their male classmates, in automobiles, and when they reached it, were courteously guid-rd guid-rd through the big plant by two of the officials, who explained the process of sugar making.
