Nov 9. saved Just In I time from dying of starvation, Mrs I Frances Folsom. famous as a poetess ; and recently the central figure in sen aatlonal divorce proceedings bruught by her husband, a New VorU attorney, attor-ney, tonight Ilea In Sisters' hospital here under the care of physicians. Mrs. Folsom. who came to ndco a few months ago from Reno, was found unconscious in the 6treef. Her iden tlty was not established until she had been brought to the hospital Then it was learned that for some time th woman and her son had been struggling strug-gling for existence and finally had fallen in the struggle. She will be eared for by the city authorities here until her friends in the east are heard from Mrs Fol8om was famous some years a'o as a writer of poetry. She came west to Reno to secure a divorce, and while thqrs was made the subject sub-ject of charges by her husband Leaving Leav-ing Reno she came her under an assumed as-sumed name When Mrs. Folsom was found in a state of collapse she was without shoes and evidently had not eaten for som-- time |
