Show NEW COURSES POPULAR. Logan, Nov. 9. The classes in the winter courses of study offered b the Utah Agricultural college, which have proved so popular in the past I will begin Tuesdav. November IS These courses are especially designed for men and women young and old. who do not find it possible to leavo their work earlier in the fall and who can remain only till the opening of 1 spring Tho work offered is of 6uch a nature as to meet the needs of j people that wish to improve them selves along the lines of agriculture, home economics, mechanic arts and I commerce. In addition to the regular work of the winter courses, the applicant is permitted to take any course or courses cour-ses in any other departments for which he mny be prepared All of j the work is elective. The courses Include studies In crop j and soils fruit growing, poultry keep- ; ing, stock Judging. Insect pests, veterinary veteri-nary science, farm accounting, farm! , buildings and machinery, carpentry. forging, machine work, English, busi ness correspondence, spelling. commercial com-mercial arithmetic, penmanship, book keeping and economics. A large registration is looked for the coming season The courses are finished March 28. |
