Show HANSON BEFORE THE BAR ASSOCIATION Salt Lake, Jan. 9. Ray Van Cott, chairman -,f the grievance committee of the Utah State Bar association, stated last night that the investigation of the conduct of Willard Hanson by the committee would co on. The mat ter was first presented to the committee commit-tee in the latter part of October at a meeting of the committee which was held in Van Cott's office. The subject was first broached by a member of the committee, just who, Mr. Van Cott could nr remember. Then Chief of Police B. F. Grant was called into the conference and the subject was gone into in detail. The committee requested re-quested that the chief put into writing writ-ing those things which he had outlined, out-lined, and that the communication 1 should embody a record of the procedure pro-cedure of the case through the courts. The chief complied with the request, mailing his letter on November 13, 1913 The letter was received by Mr! Van Cott as the chairman of the com mittee on November 14 and since that date has lain unopened in his desk. |
