Show HEART FAILURE IS CAUSE OF DEATH Salt Lake, Nov 6 Joseph Jack son. a waiter 35 years of age died of heart failure lu the steam room af the Sanitarium baths last night at 9 40 o'clock. Dr. C C. Snyder was called us soon as the man became seriously se-riously 111 but death ensued before be arrived Because of the fact that an empty bottle, labeled carbolic arid, was found in a lavatory or the place, the theory of heart failure as the cause of death was weakened by the 6us picipn of suicide. Dr Snyder said last night that the actual cause could not he definitely determined by su perflclal examination, and that he would recommend to the coroner to day that an Inquest be held Jackson had called to inquire after the health of a friend. J N Morgan, who was at the sanitarium In the turklsh bath He had viBlted him several times during ihe day. and had not been in the place the last time for more than ten minutes when he became mortally ill He wss talk ing to Morgan, when he suddenly fell backward across a cot and groaned with pain, dying within a few mln utes. The man came here from Ouray. Colo, several weeks ago and was to have been employed In a restaurant which Morgan contemplated opening on Main street. He has relatives ll ing In Ouray, including a father. John Jackson The boly was removed io the undertaking rooms of S D. Evans. Arrangements for the runeral will not be completed until relatives are heard from. |
