Show EXTENSION OF CUD LINE EAST TO HARRISON Properly owners on Twenty-seventh street and vicinity, between Van Bu-ren Bu-ren and Harrlso'.t avenues, have re quested the Ogden Rapid Transit com pany to extend its Twenty-seventh street ear line to Harrison, and the proposition Is being considered favorably. fa-vorably. Before this extension can be made, however, it will be neces Bary to fill up the old Taylor Greek channel at the intersection of Van Buren The O'Neill company is dump lng the dirt taken from Twenty-fifth street by the grading gang into the channel and It will not bo long until it will be possible to build the track across that depression Manager P. D. Kline stated this morning that, while It had not ben definitely decided to extend the line to Harrison avenue, he could sec no reason why it can not be done In fact, he said, that It Is very likely that the wlehes of the petitioners will be complied with. It will require but little expense to maXe the oxten slon after the fill Is made across Taylor creek, while the extension a block further east would accommodate accommo-date a good many residents. The Rapid Transit company Is repairing re-pairing its power station on Washington Washing-ton avenue, near the Ordon river bridge, by putting in improved transformers trans-formers and extra equipmt. This n is being done In contemplation of betler electric service and a more ef flclent operation of the company's entire svstem.
