Show W. W. HENDERSON HAS RESIGNED ID 60 10 IDAHO W. W. Henderson, principal of the Weber academy, lost night tendered his resignation to tho academy board, at its regular meetlnfT. Mr. Henderson Hender-son gave as a reason, pressing business busi-ness duties in Aramo, Idaho, and the resignation is to take effect at tho end of the present semester. There was present at the meeting, President David O. McKay, L. W. Shurtliff, Charles F. MIddloton, John Watson, Thomas B. Evans and James Wother-spoon Wother-spoon and all of them expressed the utmost regret at tho prospect of losing los-ing Mr. Henderson. In presenting his resignation. Principal Prin-cipal Henderson explained that tho large land and mercantile Interests of the family, at Aramo, which he had been looking after since the death of his father, James Henderson, over a year ago, needed his entire attention. atten-tion. The announcement of tho resignation resigna-tion was made by President McKay, who said that the board regretted the necessity of accepting it, as Mr. Henderson had given nearly four years of service that had proven him to be a man finely fitted to hold such a position. .His policies had been entirely en-tirely approved by the board at all tlmos and had served to improve thc moral and educational standard of tho school to a marked degree. President McKay also said that no one liad been considered as yet to fill the position Prior to coming to Ogden, Professor Henderson was professor of biology at the B. Y. C. at Logan and he has left a fine record as a teacher in several sev-eral other schools. rin |
