Show HARRY STOUT TO REFEREE FIGHT Big Crowd Expected to Witness Wit-ness Ritchie's Third En-. En-. counter With Wolgast. Milwaukee, Wis., March 12. Differences Differ-ences over the selection of a referco whlrh at one time threatened to cause a postponement of tonight's ten-round bout between Willie Ritchie, lightweight light-weight champion of tho world, and Ad Wolgast, were settled today with the appointment of Harry Stout of this city. Both fighters announced they were satisfied with Stout. Indications were that a big crowd would view the third encounter bo-tween bo-tween Ritchie and Wolgast. The promoters pro-moters thought the receipts would total to-tal more than $30,000. Tom Jones, Wolgast's manager, will receive 70 per cent of the receipts out of which he must pay Ritchie his guarantee of $10,000. The remainder will go to Wolgast, Ritchie today continued the favorite at odds of 10 to G. Both fighters were slightly under the stipulated weight of 135 pounds earlv today. Wolgast's injured thumb, which was bruised in training several days ago, had healed and gave tho boxer no trouble. As no decisions are permitted under un-der the Wisconsin boxing laws, division divi-sion of money which has been wagered wa-gered has been left to newspaper decisions. |
