Show BUTTE TEAM 15 BEING ORGANIZED Butte, Mont . Nov. 3 ' Duckey' Holmes ,vili probably be the leader of the Butte baseball team In Its race for the pennant next season. This announcement has been given out by Larry Duggan, apparently the author! ty In local baseball matters. Holmes has not signed a contract yet, but it Is suited that he is satisfied with the terms offered him and he is satisfactory satisfac-tory to local interests As soon as Holmes has signed it Is said he will begin searching for new players for the Butte team, and so many changes are contemplated that the Coppers will have practically an entire new team Holmes says he will be disappointed disappoint-ed If he cannot sell at least four players play-ers out of his next vear b lineup. Butte has already lost Duddy and Ka-fora. Ka-fora. Oriet will probably be kept and possibly Whaling Turgeon s case is doubtful, and Clynes and Demagglo may be released provided Holmes can sign some hard hitting outfielders. Holmes believes In expert enced catchers, as he thinks that the best work can be gotten from pitch ers only when men of experience are ul the receiving end.
