Show ou EDELIN Oil TO BE EXAMINED AS TO MS SANITY The case against Richard Rovr wntj dismissed by Judge Reeder this morning morn-ing in the police court on motion of Assistant City Attorney John Hey wood and a new complaint was filed. Row was first charged with cruelty to animals, but the complaint now charges him with disturbing the peace. The case was set for tomorrow tomor-row morning. William Edelinan was the first offender of-fender brought up this morning. He was charged with being drunk and pleaded not guilty. Edelman was recognized by the assistant city attorney attor-ney as a man turned over to the county coun-ty authorities in December, for examination ex-amination as to his sanity. He was sed by them and this morning aid that he could not remember baring ever been questioned by toe physicians while he was in the county coun-ty Jail. He said that he was subject1 to fits and while they were upon him he had no control over himself. Patrolman Pa-trolman Blackburn, who arrested the man, said that he was drunk and had been acting queerly on the street. He was also begging for money to buy liquor. Judge Reeder ordered the city officers to turn him over io the county again to be examined as tu his sanity. Dot Henry, a confessed vag. had hor case taken under advisement This was her second appearance hi court within the last two weeks. On the last occasion her case was taken under advisement nnd she was le-leased le-leased on bail. She forfeited the bail. She was arrested in the present pres-ent case with Mrs. Ferguson, proprle tor of the Carlyle rooming house on Twenty-fifth street. Mrs. Ferguson was released on bail, pending an Investigation In-vestigation nnd this morning a complaint com-plaint was filed charging her with selling liquor without a license. |
