Show CAILLAUX MAY BE ACCESSORY Paris, April 7. The question whether Joseph Calllaux, former minister min-ister of finance, may be charged as an accessory of his wife in the assassination as-sassination of Gaston Calmette, editor edi-tor of the Figaro, is the subject of general discussion in the newspapers today. The publication of the testimony testi-mony of President Polncare, indicating indicat-ing that Calllaux had at least influenced influ-enced his wife's action, has given rise t6 the suggestion that he may be brought into the investigation as an accomplice. The magistrate in charge of the preliminary inquiry, Henri Boucard, called both M. Calllaux and Louis Barthou, former premier, for examination exam-ination today. M. Calllaux gave the magistrate details de-tails of his private life and mentioned his '.domestic difficulties. He said that while he was at Mamers with Mme. .Gueidan, his former wife, a package of letters was taken from his ddsk. Among them were two letters he had written to the present Madame Calllaux, |
