His physician believes that the young man will recover. Kirkham and Ira Racker, his companion, com-panion, were riding bicycles and clinging to the rear of an' auto occupied oc-cupied by K. p. Nelson and Frank Bellwood of Salt Lake City, who. with their wives, were enroute to Provo A8 the road was smooth and hard, ro danger was anticipated bv the youths, and they were urging the driv -vt ?k car ,0 her up' when Kirkham s front wheel crashed and he shot high Into the air ahead of the auto and came down on his head. Kirkham was at once picked up h the aufosists, hurried four miles south to Lehl for medical aid and, after treatment, taken in the car to the home of his parents, where he remains In a serious condition. |
