Show Society AT THE INAUGURAL BALL. Some very beautiful toilets were to be seen at the governor's Inaugural ball given at the Hotel Utah last evening A few are described of those in the receiving line and oth rs in official circles. Mrs William Spry was gowned in white satin charmeuse with an overdress over-dress of black lace and jet tnmmtnr Handsome duchess lace trimmed tli bodice. Mrs. David Mattson wore blue mescaline mes-caline with an overdress of sliver net pud hair ornament to match Mrs W M McCarty, a gown of delft, blue charmeuse with an overdress of oriental bends and lace. Mrs Henry Gardner, canary colored col-ored satin charmeuse trimmed with gold lace Mrs. N T. Secly, white silk veiled In chiffon and with beautiful trimmings trim-mings of sihor bead6 and roses Mrs R. A Wedgwood was prettilv gowned in white charmeuse satin with real lac,- triminlnps and pearls. Mrs. Rodney T Badger wore a gown of aprkot charmeuse trimmed with Brussels net and black panne V vet Mrs. Hiram Booth wore a gown ot white satin with an overdress of rream colored lace. Mrs E. S Wright, cream colored Charmeuse with piuk brocade and pearl trimmings. Mrs ( harlps A Quigley wore an Imported gown of white and gold brocade bro-cade with a beautiful overdress of flU 6pun gold cloth Mrs. S A Whitney, a white satin gown with an overdress of blue chiffon, chif-fon, headed and trimmed with a handsome hand-some lace drape. Mrs Lawrence Grecu was beautifully beauti-fully gowned in pa6tel blue clur-mcuse clur-mcuse embroidered In blue and gold beads. Mrs E G. Woolley wore an aniW r colored satin gown wiih an overdress of the same color, embroidered In oriental ori-ental tones Mrs. Irons wore an imported gown of apricot charmeuse, an overdross of cream colored lace and embroideries embroid-eries of gold and oriental colors. With this she wore a tiara of rare stones and a necklace to match. Miss Alice Spry wore pink chiffon chif-fon over charmeuse 9atln of the samo color. Miss Lita Spry, white lace gown trimmed with pink rosebuds. Miss Edgarda Wwdgwood, while crepe de chine embroidered In gold and trimmed with gold lace Miss Geneve Wright wore a gold colored charmeuse satin gown trimmed trim-med with a rose and gold embroidered embroid-ered border. M1b8 Emma Quigley was prettily gowned In canary colored tvatlu and chiffon with bead trimmings. PROGRESSIVE PARTY. Last evening the Misses Irma Cedes. Ce-des. Rhea Stevens, Floronco Brown ing, Mary Jacobs, Susie Jacobs, Mary Hopkins. Lizzie- Blair. Ethel Dahl-strom, Dahl-strom, VerUS Tracy and Iva Steers entortained a number of friends and schoolmates of the Weber academy. An enjoyable evening began at the Jacobs home on Monroe avenue ami ended with games and music at the Fccles home ou Jefferson avenue which was beautifully decorated with violota, roses and carnations.
