| Show INSANE IN THOUGHT HE WAS WALKING THE STREETS OF SALT LAKE ordered a sandwich and imaginary waiter brought him seventeen much to his disgust william a stranger was taken from weber river monday by sheriff sebring and deputy barlow wilson whose timely arrival at the sand bank west ot the city probably saved the mans life he is confined in the padded cell at the county jail and will be examined tor his sanity A report reached the sheriff that a man was wading in the river with his clothes on and acting so queerly that he was thought to be insane sebring ana wilson followed the river for a considerable distance before they found splashing in the water his clothes were wet and water trickled from his hair he babbled an incoherent story and imagined himself in salt lake a hallucination that convinced the officers immediately that he did not possess his right senses at the jail yesterday after describing what he believed he saw in alon he changed his vision and began to order sandwiches when he called for and the shadow waiter brought seventeen he flew into a rage and was barely prevented from doing himself injury he will be examined by a commission in lunacy |
