Show IN HIS ACTION DEFENDING PROPERTY and authorized him to take steps nc cessare to keep transit company in bounds from saturdays standard by a unanimous vote the city council which met in special session yesterday afternoon endorsed the action of the mayor and alti officials in removing tho second track from ogden river bridge on wednesday night and passed a resolution delegating to tho mayor and the city attorney power to bring such action and proceedings as they shall deem necessary to protect tho property 0 the city with reference to the attempt ot the ogdan sapid transit company building a second track across ogden river bridge early yesterday morning mayor glasmann was in consultation with pity attorney bagley and several members ot the city council and it was decided to call a special mooting of the council tor the purpose of taking action in regard to the bridge situation mayor glasmann and councilman cragg and issued a call for a special hepting tor 3 yesterday afternoon and nearly all members of the council were present at roll call in the absence ot president carr councilman cragg was elected chairman ot the meeting after a brief but comprehensive statement of the situation by mayor glasmann and city attorney councilman randall introduced he following 3 which was adopted adopt pd it resolved anat the mayor and city attorney are hereby authorized to take such proceedings and bring such actions as shall be deemed necessary by them to protect abo property of the city and more especially with reference to tho attempt of the rapid transit company to build a second track across ogan river bridge the resolution was adopted and the council adjourned |
