CASE AGAINST . THEJAMBIERS. December 23 is the date upon which the twenty-six Chinese gamblers arrested ar-rested In two raids a few weeks ago will be tried berore Judge W. H. Reeder in the polico court. Ail are out on ball ranging in amounts from $50 to $100. Tho Chinese were arrested while gambling In a room above Joe Wing's care on Grant avenue. During the first raid cleen gamblers were caught and all put tip the necessary amount of bail Within a week, fifteen more were arrested in the samo place, and bail for the seventeen was forthcoming forthcom-ing the next dav. The firm of Willis and Devlnc will defend the Chinese at their trial next Monday morning. It Is stated that gambling is again on behind closed doors
