Show "THE HALF BREED." A thoroughly artistic and strong performance was that of "The Half Breed" by the stock company at ttu-Ogden ttu-Ogden theater last evening It is no wonder the house is crowded at every performance, when such performances are given for such nominal admission prices. Tho honors last evening were easily carried off by Miss Arington and Thos Pawlcy. Misa Arington as the leading lady showed an unsuspected power and strength. Her work was most praiseworthy. Mr Pawley gave an artistic portrayal of the educated In dian, who, In spite of the fact, was still an Indian. Robert Pawlev gave a vigorous and sympathetic portrayal of Ivcnj on. Miss Craig was captlvat ing as "Marian O'Day." The reBt of the case were also good and must take this as highest pralBe. "Little Ca3ey" gave a remarkable performance of "Little Dick " The scenic effects and mounting of the play were in the best taate. "The Hair Breed" will play until un-til Wednesday evening, inclusive. The Wednesday matinee will be the only afternoon performance of it. |
