It is stated that J the joining of the two big companies is part of the plant for consolidation of all power companies of the west. Telegrams from the New Jersey headquarters of the General Electric and Wcstinghouse concerns yesterday announced the merger of the Montana, Utah and Nevada companies and pow- I er officials in Denver, say the Colo- I1 rado merger will next be made pub- 1 lie.
