Moran company for pav- I ing Grant acnue, between Twenty-third Twenty-third and Twenty-fourth streets, amounting to ?9,7C3, was referred to the superintendent of finance and public affairs at last evening's meeting of the city board of commissioners. Tho recorder stated to the commissioners com-missioners that the paving of the threo Intersections on Washington avenue amounts to 0,531.71 with 15 per cent off. Amounts duo the Ogden Savings bank on account of interest on curb I and gutter and sewer warrants, re-1 ported by the city treasurer, in the sum of $174 for tho former and $00 j for the latter, were authorized to be baid. Commissioner T. S. Browning reported re-ported that Jack Smith is not entitled to damages for a wounded hand thati was dressed by the city physician, as the wound had been properly attended to and that f Jack had been careful, ho would have had no trouble 'Rith his hand. The commissioner's report was . adopted and it was recommended that, no further action be taken In the matter. It being reported that the fence and ' j gate of H. B. Fell, an old account of $10 against Dr. C. E. Coulter for dirt plac- ed on a vacant lot, was cancelled.
