Show TRAIN CREWS GET BACK HOME The employes of the railroad offices at the Union depot took a half-holiday at noon today and celebrated the glorious Fourth. Some of the boys decided to go to the ball games, while others announced that they would spend the afternoon and evening at the canyon. The general superintendent of the Southern Pacific guvo the local officials offi-cials permission to cancel all the way freight after noon, but they were not cancelled, for the reason that the crews were all away from home and preferred to make the run home. Thoy were allowed to run light trains so that they might get in early. |
