Show COMMITTEE CALLS WOODROW WILSON Baltimore, July 4 The Democratic national committee left here today for Sea Girt to call on Gov. Woodrow Wilson. The visit has no poltical significance, sig-nificance, as it has been the custom for years for the Democratic national committee to make a call on the party nominee Just after the convention. Whilo the campaign will come in for informal discussion, it was agreed that no plans would be reached or policies outlined. A sub-commlttoe composed of Chairman Mack, Secretary Woodson and three others members of the committee com-mittee expects to talk over with Governor Gov-ernor Wilson tho naming of the new head of the national committee to succeed Mr. Mack, who has announced his retirement Wilson Sleeps Late. Sea Girt, N. J , July 4. Governor Wilson did not get up until 9 o'clock today, for he did not retire until after midnight, finishing his reading of the Democratic national platform. Dean and Mrs. Henry Fine of Princeton and family spent the night at the govornor's cottage and were accompanied accom-panied to the station by tho governor govern-or when they departed today. The national committee Is expected early this afternoon and will be received re-ceived in the governor's tent an. the lawn. |
