Show r-00 CAMPAIGN IS NEARING THOND Progressive meetings in the different differ-ent parts of the country were well attended last evening and the speakers speak-ers made good impressions at each meeting. Judge Agee and B. A. Crltchlow were at KanesvUle. Judge Bagley and Joseph Rlrle spoke at Roy. and G. J S. Abels and others were at River-dale. River-dale. Tho only other meeting scheduled by the Progressive party for tho week is that to be held at Iluntsville on Friday night Judge W. D. Livingston, Living-ston, state secretary ot the Progressive Progres-sive organization, will be the speaker speak-er and it 1b likely tkut candidates en j the county ticket will attend the meeting and make short speeches. A meeting will bo held nt Eden Saturday Satur-day night, but the speakers have not yet been selected. Tho chairman of tho Democratic camp states that the week will close with Judge W. H. King n this city at different piaces, and that "ho will likely be the last of Democratic speakers speak-ers in Weber county. For the Republicans, E. C. Aahton and George Halverson will speak at Rlverdale Thursday ovening and Samuel Sam-uel Dye and others will speak at West Weber. Friday night will find Samuel Dye at Burch Creek and Judge Howell at Farr We3t. Ashton and Halverson v. Ill bo at Wilson that night. Congressman Howell will speak at Harrisvillo Saturday, and Senator George Sutherland will tour tho county, Bpeaklng- at Pleasant View and in tho wards of the city. He will alsn Bpcak to the ladies at Republican headquarters during the afternoon. nr |
