Keysor several mpntha ago and Indorsed by the university Professor Stowart said that tho plan embraced not only th0 production produc-tion of practical good in tho shapo of crops, hut that It would bo a moanfl of giving training to school children ap well as be an aid In beautifying the city. The Commercial club said Mr. Stewart, had indorsed tho plan by nppronrlatlng $500 for the purpose, and that the university iind already secured agreements from owners of thirty vacant lots for cultivation under un-der th.o plan, Tho onlv thing . that seemed to stand In the way of tho ultlmuto adoption of te scheme 1b th0 question of water supply- It was suggested by City Engineer D. H.
