President August Herrmann, of the Cincinnati Nntlonnl league club, does not think much of the latest effort at a baseball base-ball players' union. He does not be-liovo be-liovo any of the Reds are Interested in the affair and adds thnt there Is nothing new about It. Dave Fultz, he said, has been working work-ing on the plan a year or two. Fultr. is an attorney at law now and Herrmann Herr-mann intimates that it could easily be understood why he is active In tho affair. "The new national agreoment is much more favorable to the players," Herrmann said, "and I think there is any dissatisfaction I haven't hoard anything lately about the players' organization and of courso can't discuss dis-cuss it officially as a member of the National commission." |
