At the closing session here yesterday the Utah State Federation of Labor adopted resolutions resolu-tions demanding tho resignation of Samuel Gompers and all officers of the American Federation of Labor, forbidding any member of tho federation federa-tion te preach prohibition and condemning con-demning tho Salt Lake Commercial club for letting contracts for printing out side the state. A. K. Kempton of tho street car men's union of Salt Lake was elected president of the federation for tho ensuing year; Bobon Adamson of the Eureka Miners union was elected first vice president, Miss Maud West of the Garment Workers union of Ogden, Og-den, second vice president, F C. Utter Ut-ter of the Salt Lake Electrical Workers Work-ers union, third vice president, George Thermm of the Brewery Workers union of Ogdon, fourth vice president; John Lehy, Miners union of Park City, fifth vice president; L. C- Howell of the Moulders union of Salt Lake, secretary sec-retary and treasurer. |
