Show OIL BURNERS; ARE BEING RECEIVED The Southern Pacific railroad is to recehe several new oil burning locomotives loco-motives of the Pacilic type from the Bnldwln locomothe works within tho next few days. They will be used for passenger and freight service. II. II. Forney, general airbrake inspector in-spector for the Southern Pacific company, com-pany, who has his headquarters at San Francisco, is in Ogden to oversee the setting up or the new engines. With him is L. S. Ayers. a mechanical cxperl of the Wcstinghouse airbrake company. Tbc Ogden yards will receive 10 or 12 of these new oil burners. |
