Owing to the fact that there were only six members present at the meeting, a bare quorum, the report of the committee com-mittee was deferred until a meeting of the board which Is to be held on August 22 The action determined upon It the result of a letter received from the telephone company notifying the board of a raise In tho rates which have heretofore been paid of practically practi-cally 51200 a year.
