Show FRANK BURNS IS SENT TO PRISON This morning Frank Burns was arraigned ar-raigned before Judgo Nathan J. Harris Har-ris and, after pleading guilty to tho charge of grand larceny, he was sentenced to servo ono year in the state penitentiary Attorne3- Royal Ecclcs ably represented the young man and asked for tho clemency of tho court. It will bo recalled that Burns on Septomber 27, 1912, stole from tho curb near the City hall an automobile and was making his way to California Califor-nia when ho was apprehended at Ely, Nov.. and brought back to Ogden under un-der tho charge of grand larceny. He did not donv taking the machine giving giv-ing as an excuse that ho was in hard luck and desired to get into California. Cali-fornia. F. Misaka was given until October 00 to plead to the chorge fo burglar In the third degree, preferred against him bv District Attorney E. T Hu-Ianlski. Hu-Ianlski. It is said in the infomratlon that Misaka, who is n Japanese, entered tho room of a fellow Jap, S. Yamada, October 1C, of this year, and stole $65 in cash and a watch and chain. |
