Show 1 Society 1 SISTERS ENTERTAIN. Fourteen young people enjojed a pleasant evening with the Misses Lillian Lil-lian and Sylvlne Richardson Wednesday Wednes-day evening at their home, 2C4G Grant avonue. A musical program and games were followed by the serving of an appetizing appe-tizing lunch at 11:30. Those present were: Ruby Fales, Alma Fales, Lillian Richardson, Ruby Shupe. Nontas Brown, Ruby Richards, Rich-ards, Sylvlne Richardson, Raymond Brown, David Bateman, James Astlll, Melvln Brooks, Jnmes Dunn. Benjamin Benja-min Richards, Lewis Richardson. FAREWELL PARTY. A pleasant evening was spent at thc home of Mr. and Mrs S. 13 Wheelwright Wheel-wright when tkirty-fiYc friends assembled as-sembled in honor of Hiram .and Albert Al-bert Wheelwright, who will leave early ear-ly next month for California on a mission for the Mormon church. Games, music and pleasant social recreation were enjoyed and delicious refreshments were served. CARD PARTY. Mrs. Kate Toponco entertained the Ladies' auxiliary to the U. S W. V. and the local U. S. W. veterans at ber home Wednesday evening. A series se-ries of eight card games were played, play-ed, Mrs. Gallachcr, Mr. T-oponce and Miss Toponce making the high scores. A plqasant social hour and the serving serv-ing of refreshments rounded out the occasion. AT ST. JOSEPH'S KALL. The ladle3 of St Joseph's Sewing society will entertain at a bazaar in St Joseph's hall tomorrow afternoon and evening. A special program has been provided for the children. HISTORICAL SOCIETY. The Historical society will meet at 2:30 p. m, tomorrow with Mrs. J M. Bishop at her home at Grant avenue and Thlrty-soventh street. Mrs. George Mcintosh and daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs. Alvln Reynolds, have gone to Los Angeles to spend tbe winter with Mrs. Mcintosh's daughter, Mrs. Ernest Cook Mrs. Maude Flewelhng Is entertaining entertain-ing her house guests, "Sir. and Mrs. Otis Van Volkenberg of Tracy, Cal., at her home. 321 Twenty-third 3treet |
