Show REORGANIZATION OFJVISIONS WASHINGTON, Oct. 13. The mcrg-ing mcrg-ing of tho variouB departments of tbo regular army In the LTnlted Statou into three divisions has been completed. com-pleted. With .the return of General Wood, now on a tour ot Inspection of army posts, tho heads of tho throe divisions di-visions will be announced. It is stated at tho war department lhat Major Oen-oral Oen-oral William H. Carter. aBBlstant chief of staff, would got tho command of tho Becond division, with headquarters at Chicago. This division Includes the departments of the Lakes, Missouri, Mississippi and Ohio valleys. It la not known yot who will get command of tho first division, which is chiefly the old departmont of tho east. The third division comprises tho departments of California, bouthwost and Columbia. Brigadier General Frederick Funston, the ranking officer of that grade, is likoly to recede the place. |
