Accordingly, prices wero disposed to sag, owing to the absence of even an ordinary demand. Furthermore, the market received some bearish Impetus through better crop advices from India and Russia, nnd because of favorable weather in Argentine. The opening was unchanged un-changed to l-4c lower December started at 95 3-l95 7 8 to 95 7-Sc, unchanged to a shade off, and sank to 95-5-Rc. Corn 'dropped lower owing to slowness slow-ness of demand. At the outsot, however, how-ever, the market had an appearanco of bullish Inclination, tho result of light receipts. December opened at G4c to 616l 1-Sc, last night's level, to a sixteenth higher, touchod 64 1-Sc nnd then receded to 63 3-4 G3 7-8c. Oats showed a little animation. Prices swung within a range of 1-Sc either way from the final figures of tho day before. December started unchanged at 45 l-4c and seemed bent on keeping within tho limit named. Provisions dleplayed Bome firmness on account of the steadiness of the hog market First sales wero unchanged un-changed to 5c up with January' atJ ?15 12 1-2 for pork; S.92 1-2 for lard and $8.00 for ribs. |
