Dec. 15 A verdict of "not guilty" -waB re- - turned late today, freeing LI1- Han Graham and Ethel Conrad -f of criminal charges on which 4- they had been held olnce last 4- Juno for shooting tho million- 4 aire sportsman and hotel pro- f prietor, W. The 4- Jury reached its vordict in 4- 4- slightly loss than one hour. 4 i 4- 4 U "The shooting show girls" were tried on an Indictment of three counts, tho first charging an attempt to murder mur-der Stokes. Of consideration of this count, however, the Jurors wore relieved re-lieved by Justico Marcus, at tho ro-quest ro-quest of the district attorney. The court restricted tho Jury to tho second sec-ond and third counts, which chnrged, respectively, assault in the first degree, de-gree, with Intent to kill, and nssault In the second degree with Intent to do bodjlv Injury Whenv summoned to hear the vordict, vor-dict, MJsa Graham appeared unstrung and was assisted Into the court room, trembling.
