Complete Com-plete control of the public domain is placed In the hands of tho secretary of the luterlor by the terms or the public land bills Introduced by Senator Sena-tor Overland of North Carolina In tho senate today The bills are tho same as the senator Introduced last session with the exception of several amendments, amend-ments, one of which provides for specific spe-cific reservation of mineral rights in all patents to agricultural lands. Senator Overland also Introduced a public land bill Intended for the promotion of agriculture. It would pay $35,000 for this purpose to each of the states annually, the money to come from tho proceeds of the salo of public lands
