Tomorrow morning at ten o'clock is the opening day. Governor Win. Spry of Utah, with other state and municipal officers will welcome all Chautauquans and give them the keys of the state and city President Frank M Drlggs will act as chairman of the opening session, and tho Chautau-quan Chautau-quan band will furnish the music Governor Spry's Welcome. Brief addresses will be given by Prof. Daniel W. Frank Han-ly Han-ly of Indiana will arrive from the coast and attend a luncheon given in honor of Gov. Spry and stnff by the board of directors. Lccturo by Hanly. The opening lecture at 2 p. m.. will be given by Governor Hinly and his subject will be, "Tho Patriotism of Peace" This lecture is full of interesting inter-esting data and is consldcre-1 a masterpiece mas-terpiece of rhetoric and logic. Manager Flqher announced this morning that Dr. James E Talmnge of Salt Lake would take the place of Apostle David O McKav at the next Sunday afternoon meeting. Mr. McKay Mc-Kay was seriously injured a few days ago and will bo unable to fulfill his engagement. All the other speakers announced will arrive tomorrow and make their headquarters at the Hermitage. Excellent Car Service. The Ogden Rapid Transit companv has planned a six-minute schedule all day, beginning tomorrow morning to Glenwood park. In addition, the Or-den Or-den Canyon ca,rs will be run on their regular time and between them and the specials, there will be prrtlcally . a three to four minute scheduo. W Bailey will personally per-sonally supervise the traffic to the park and make efforts to accommodate the crowds that will attend the Chautauqua Chau-tauqua meetings Sanitation at Park. The health and sanitation arrange raents are under the direction of a detachment of Utah Boy Scouts, Dr. A. P Mills and F. O. Kolley of Pro-vo. Pro-vo.
