Show oo SUDDEN DEATH vi (lo Ls 1 jH I Oil While sitting on the edge of his beu I this morning, just after he had arisen, ' James Luther Porter died of heart . diseuse, from which he had been suf- ' fering for some time. Death occurred i about 7 o'clock at Mr. Porter's home at tho corner of Adams avenue and , Twenty-eighth street. j Mr. Porter and William Dunbar have been living together and have occupied the same bed. This morning morn-ing Mr. Porter arose first and while sitting on the edge of the couch suddenly sud-denly fell backward upon the bed, ' writhing in p.iin. Mr. Dunbar hastily j arose an dendeavored to comfort his companion. Finding that ho could do( nothing td relieve the man, he" left the house for medical assistance and when he returned lound his companion compan-ion dead. The remains were removed to the Lindquist funeral chapel where the funeral services will be held Monday ' afternoon at 1 o'clock with burial in ' the Ogden city cemetery. The -deceased was born In this city November 2, 1865, and spent his entire en-tire life In this vicinity. He is survived sur-vived by two brothers, Charles A. and Clarence Porter, and two sisters, Sal-lie Sal-lie M. Farr and Josie Pincock, all re- i siding in this city. |
