The deal was made M I by , A. H. Stewart, vlco president of the Stato bank of Denver, and Frank C. Evans, bond offlcor of the trust company. These gentlemen have been in tho city for several days and left last evening for Denver. Tho sale of the bonds makes possible possi-ble the important Improvements which havo already been planned. It is claimed that within the next sixty davs tho contract will let for the construction con-struction of tho big power plant near Rlverdaie. It is tho Intention of the company to spond a half million dollars dol-lars In making Improvements on tho reservoir and distributing system, which now covers much of Weber county. In the matter of tho last bond issue of $500,000 tho directors decided that one-fifth of the Issue should bo sold to local investors and the remainder sold to outside parties, This constituted the block of stock which was sold to tho two corporations yesterday. |
