There are no new cases of smallpox from tho recent exposure at the Quiu-cy Quiu-cy school, but a close surveillance Is being kept over the students who are In the infected districts. v Friday, officers of the sanitary department de-partment visited thirty pupils reported report-ed absent from the school, but in only one Instance did the Inspectors have reason to expect the development of smallpox. -The teachers of the Quincy school report all absentees to the health department de-partment and an officer Is Immediately Immediate-ly sent to the home or the pupil to determine the cause of the abtence. rr-i |
