Show 1EET1 OF THE COUNTY BOARD At a meeting of the county commissioners com-missioners this morning, the following follow-ing persons were appointed delegates dele-gates to tho convention of the Inter-mountain Inter-mountain Good Roads association at Boise, June 22, 23, and 24 of this year: Andrew S Allen. "Huntsville. Lyman Skoon, Plain City. J. T. Bybee, Riverdale W. H. Burrows, Slaterville. 11. F. Pettersor West Weber. Other delegates will bo appointed by the Weber club and Ogden city. Andrew Anderson and twenty-five other residents of Uintah petitioned the county commissioners to have tho read crossing over the Union Pacific track removed to Its original place. The petitioners state that the railway rail-way company has,j-ecently moved the crossing to a point inconvenient for the people of Uintah and that tho railroad rail-road should bo compellod to place It where it was. The matter was referred re-ferred to Commissioner Madson. Tho matter of proIding suitable drainage on tho road to Slaterville, brought to tho attention of the commissioners com-missioners by Georgo Bradshaw, was handed to Commissioner Skeen ofr consideration. He was given power to act. The petition of President Rowe of the Four-State Fair association for an appropriation for a county exhibit at the fair next fall, was filed for future consideration The petition of A H. Weston of Roy to cross the roadway with an irrigation ir-rigation ditch was granted. The objection of James Jensen of Pleasant View to the grading of the county road south of the Cragun store was referred to Commissioner Moore. Commissioner Madson was authorized authoriz-ed to negotiate for a carload of cement, ce-ment, and ho was also authorized to have painted the county infirmary roof. |
