Show H PAPER LITTER ON LAWNS. 1 H Complaints are reaching this office daily against the throwing M of handbills, circulars and other objectionable paper into the yardw H of homes: A lady called at this office this morning to register a M protest. She- said'her yard is no sooner cloared of litter than these H uninvited contributions in the form of handbills rain down and give H the lawln the appearance of being a waste dump. n Unless ordered delivered, no one has the right to throw paper or K other material on a lawn, and the practice of throwing "dodgers," H without permission, into yards, should be stopped. H A well kept lawn covered with scrap paper is robbed of its at- H tract ivcncss, and those Avho labor to keep their lawns green should H not be compelled to pick up tho paper trash two or three times a day, H following the regular distribution of circulars by boys. |
