Dr. Noble, well known in Utah educational circles, also will have charge of correspondence and visual vis-ual education work and will act as assistant professor of education, president Harris said. All fields under Dr. Noble's supervision su-pervision will be expanded to pro-ride pro-ride additional educational opportunities oppor-tunities for Utehns who find it impossible to attend classwork at USAC but who desire to continue their studies, Dr. Harris saic. Dr. Noble was superintendent of the Uintah school district in Ver. ml from 1935 to 1942, and in 1941 received a fellowship at the University Uni-versity of Southern California. He was granted a leave of absence from "the Uintah district to continue con-tinue his graduate study and in . 1944 received his doctor's degree. Active also in other educational work, Dr. Noble was a member of the Utah Education Association finance committee from 1935 to 1937 and is a member of Phi Delta Kappa, honorary educational education-al fraternity. |
