Mr. and Mrs. Marlin Hansefl j and son Wendell were business ' visitors in Salt Lake City, Tues- ' day. Visiting with relatives was Mr. and Mrs. Harold Green and fam.. ily of Ogden. From Salt Lake came Mr. and Mrs. James Nilson and their son J. O. Nilson to visit Sam Nilson. Mrs. George S. Smith and children child-ren Darrell and Carol of Piovi-dence Piovi-dence visited with Mrs. Fern N. Smith on Sunday. , ! Dr .and Mrs. R. C. Roskelley ! and family of Chicago, 111., were the guests of Dr. Roskelley's aunt, and uncle, Ml' .and Mrs. Henry O. Hansen. George Nilson spent two weeks as the guest of Mr. and Mrs. La Vere Thurston of Pocatello. Mrs. Henry O. Hansen entertained enter-tained Monday afternoon at her home. Dinner was served to Mrs. Albert McCann, Mrs. Oliver Nilson, Mrs. Lewis McCann, Mrs. L. V. Toolson, Mrs. Harper Noble, and Mrs. Farley Bingham. The after-I after-I noon was spent in visiting. Mrs. Margaret Hillyard of Richmond, Calif., spent a week I visiting friends and relatives at I Logan and Smithfield. Mr. Frank Hillyard accompanied Mrs. Margaret Mar-garet Hillyard to Ogden where she returned home by plane. Mrs. Edgar Hansen entertained Friday afternoon in honor of her daughter Marilyn who was observing ob-serving her tenth birthday. The afternoon was spent in playing games. Refreshments were served to seven guests. Mr. and Mrs. Leo Nelson spent Tuesday and Wednesday in Idaho Falls, Ida., visiting with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Gordon and family were the week end guests of Mr. Gordon's brother and family, Mr. and Mrs. Willard Gordon Gor-don of Burley, Idaho. Wallace Pitcher of San Carlos, Calif., is the guest of his sister and family, Mrs. Alma Raymond. Visiting from Ogden was Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Nilson and family. Miss Millicent Daines, Clair and Lyn Daines of Ogden were the guests of their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Nilson. The Book Luree Literary club will hold their first meeting of the year September 21 at the home of Mrs. Orin Miles. Mrs. Jay Knudson entertained Saturday in honor of her son Jay Oliver, who was observing his third birthday. Refreshments were served to the honored guest, Carl Knudson, Orlin West, Byron Hol-jenson, Hol-jenson, Diane Tout, Helen Clark, Marilyn and Betty Jane Hansen, Diane Jackson, Clair and Lyn Daines and Miss Millicent Daines of Ogden and Barton Nilson. Mrs. Knudson was assisted by Jay Oliver's Ol-iver's grandmother, Mrs. Rinda Chambers. |
