Show Grant Cooley arrived home from the mission hu!d Tiurday and was one of the speakers at the Smithfieid slake quarterly conference Sunday. There was a lR"Ud repres..ntaiion from this ward in attendance. ; Mrs. Hazel Eigby had as dinner din-ner guests Thanksgiving dav Henry Sutherland and family. Ruyden Eensnn and family, Mark Benson, Grant Cooley and Miss Beth Allen of Cove. Mr. and Mrs. Ernes; Nies. of ; San Jose, Calif., were dinner ' guests of Mrs. Norma Christensen Thanksgiving day. Mrs. Nies was house guest of Mrs. Christensen the previous week. Miss Cleo Christensen entertained enter-tained with a dinner Friday evening, ev-ening, the' guests including Grant Cooley Beth Allen and Lewis Smith. Mrs. Eoyden Benson entertained entertain-ed with a dinner Sunday night Mrs. Hazel Rigby, Grant Cooley, Beth Allen, Mildred Sutherland and daughter Elizabeth. Members of the Marcus Cooley and Stanley Griffin families joined join-ed together for Thanksgiving din-her, din-her, sixteen members being present. pres-ent. Expressions of thankfulness thankful-ness and appreciation were given giv-en by Nephi Christensen; clos: in'g son "O Ye Mountains High"; prayer by Zina Peterson. Lunch was served by Viola Jones' Se-phora Se-phora Clarke, Emma Jenkins and Amanda Ballard. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Thomas, of Pocatello, Idaho, were dinner guests of Mrs. Alice Jenkins Thursday. Mrs. Ida Crookston had as her guests Thanksgiving day Mr. and Mrs. Grenville Crookston and son of Logan. Mrs. Henry Jenkins served Thanksgiving dinner to the following fol-lowing members of her family, son's Allen, Ora, Lowell and their families, Mr, and Mrs. .WU-ford .WU-ford Blotter and daughter. Mrs. Calder Hall and son Reid of Richmond, spent Friday at the home of Mrs. Martha Jenkins Jenk-ins and served dinner. Mrs. Alice Christensen joined her daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Griffin and family for Thanksgiying celebration. Mr. and Mrs. Mervin Nielsen and family Hyrum; Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Mnlmberg and family, Mr. and Mrs. Don Thompson and family, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Sparks and family, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Sparks and family, of Logan; Lo-gan; Mr. and Mrs. Don Thompson Thomp-son and family of Clarkston: Mrs. Ruth Bracken and sons Lynn and Vernal of Logan; enjoyed dinner with Bell Sparks Thursday. Word has been received from Salt Lake City that Mrs. Leo Banks is not getting along as well as might be expected Her sisters Mrs. Ida Crookston, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Jorgensen motored to Salt Lake to see her Sunday. |
