Show i CLARKSTQN ' s CLARKSTON A wedding dinner din-ner and dance was given on Saturday Sat-urday evening in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Thompson, who were married November 19, Friends from Fielding, Riverside, Garland, Brigham, Plymouth, Tremonton, Logan and Clarkston were in attendance. The young couple received many beautiful gifts. Refreshments were served. Mr. and Mrs. Elbert Godfrey, and children of Riverside, Idaho, spent the Thanksgiving holidays with Mr. and Mrs. Eziekel Godfrey. God-frey. Mr. and Mrs. H. M. Mr. and Mrs. Weldon Reader of Cornish spent Saturday visiting Mr. and Mrs. James B. Jardine. Mr. and Mrs. Byron Smith and son Ronald, of Ogden, came to Clarkston on Thursday to visit Mrs. Smith's Mother, Mrs. Sarah Sar-ah Buttars, who is ill, and is at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Buttars. Mrs. Wendell Welling of Fielding, Field-ing, is at the home of her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Morris Godfrey, God-frey, Mrs. Welling is recovering from a recent operation. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ravsten Miss Afton and Jennie Ravsten have recently returned from a visit to Rupert, Idaho. They were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Frank M. Ravsten. DeVere Peterson, who is in the Navy, spent the past week visiting visit-ing with his father, Mr. L. P. reterson. He left for California on Friday. William Homer of Logan spent Friday visiting in Clarkston. Bishop John Ravsten, Miss Leah Ravsten, Mr. and Mrs. By- ron Ravsten, Mr. and Mrs. Pearl 1 Clark, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel j Thompson, Mr. and Mrs. David , C. Thompson, Mr. and Mrs. John . Thompson, James C. Thompson, and Edwin Godfrey were among the many people who attended "the funeral services of Arthur Williams at Malad, Idaho, on Saturday. Grant Griffin and Gordon Cot-tlo Cot-tlo have arrived home after spending several weeks in Bur-ley, Bur-ley, Idaho. Mr. and Mrs. D. Hatch of Oxford, Ox-ford, Idaho, spent the week end visiting Mrs. Letila Thompson. |
